Job Purpose:
This position is responsible for the operational cash and banking support for the region alongside the regional Treasury Director and the Group Treasury team.
The Treasury Manager is responsible for supporting the regional Treasury Director in managing the treasury related activities of the region, including liquidity monitoring, cash pooling, bank accounts management and other miscellaneous treasury related activities and projects relating to the MEA APAC region. Additionally, the role will assist in managing bank relations and work closely with the Finance leadership team for reporting and operations support for the region. The Treasury Manager will also help drive efficiencies to the treasury function while ensuring compliance with the Group Treasury & Financing Policies.
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Communication, Adherence and Business Improvement
· Manage queries from business units, banks and other financial institutions.
· Identify and communicate opportunities for process improvements within the banking and liquidity management activities.
· Ensure subsidiaries understand and adhere to the Group’s Treasury Policies.
· Ensure subsidiaries have an optimal capital structure and are appropriately funded whilst taking into consideration tax and regulatory constraints.
· Assist in ensuring that entities are banking with partner banks and look to rationalize accounts within the Group by monitoring utilization and recommending action plans.
2. Liquidity, Bank and Cash Management
· Ensure bank mandates and signatories are updated and aligned with Group policies.
· Monitor and oversee the liquidity positions and administration of cash pooling activities for entities in the region.
· Monitor balances and recommend action plans for surplus liquidity, including in countries where cash is generally trapped.
· Assist to administer Citi’s T&E card programs for the region.
· Assist on treasury projects for the region / country, including Transformation.
· Assist in the monitoring the execution of the Group’s dividend distribution policy ensuring entities have an optimal capital structure and support centralization of cash to Accor SA.
3. Administration and Reports
· Maintain and update of Guarantees listing for the region.
· Ensure appropriate documentations, processes are put in place and comply with group policies.
· Preparation of credit management reports to Management.
· Attend briefings, meetings and trainings as assigned by management.
· Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the assigned by the Management.
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent, in Accounting and/ or Finance related fields
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) equivalent qualifications will be advantageous
• Min. 5 years’ relevant experience in aMNC, consulting firm or bank
• Strong business acumen
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Results and service-oriented, with an eye for details
• Proficient in MS Office suite and relevant financial & accounting reporting systems (e.g. Kyriba, SUN)
• Ability to multi-task in a highly dynamic environment
• A team player and self-starter
