- Train the students in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical and Contemporary, and prepare them for yearly examinations.Plan, organize, teach and choreograph around set lesson plans and goals for each danceprogram.
- Work alongside team leaders, your senior teachers and colleagues to maintain good relationships and understanding of the syllabus, exams and expectations.
- Plan, organize, teach and choreograph dance camps, as well as other performances, dance competitions and other opportunities as they arise.
- Deliver fun, engaging and disciplined classes and build student numbers and maintain a low churn rate of withdrawals.
- Maintain a close communication with all parents and students regarding their progress inclass by providing updates via videos, email, phone calls or zoom meetings.
- Advise students regarding proper gestures, feet formation and angle, correct postural alignment, timing and dance techniques to prevent injuries.
- Help students feel appreciated and rewarded for sharing their talents and having the properdiscipline. Research constantly on the latest dance trends, moves, rhythm, music genre andartists.
- Introduce and implement proper techniques to be observed while dancing, which involveswarm-ups and stretching prior to dance, to prevent injuries and help condition the body upfor safe dance moves.
- Teaching dance privately, or in the public sector
- Any other tasks as required, including marketing and promotional activities.
