Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Software Development Manager with 7 to 10 years of expertise in validation, quality assurance, and Agile/Scrum methodologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the validation and quality assurance processes, preparing test estimations and metrics, and ensuring efficient testing workflows. Additionally, the candidate should possess knowledge of Appian, although this is considered a desirable rather than essential skill.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the validation and quality assurance efforts for application development projects.
- Analyze requirements from use case documents and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure clear understanding.
- Utilize Agile/Scrum methodologies to streamline development and testing workflows.
- Prepare accurate test estimations and metrics to ensure efficient testing processes.
- Monitor testing work and provide guidance to the testing team as needed.
- Participate in test planning, effort estimation, and test case designing phases.
- Execute test cases and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and optimize processes.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in application development and testing.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 7 to 10 years of experience in application development using Java/.NET/C++/Javascript, software validation, and quality assurance.
- Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience with Appian (preferred).
