Job Purpose :
Manage key customer accounts by providing sound and proper advice relating to warehouse processes. Continually review and improve business processes to improve productivity and add value to business services.
Job Description :
- Responsible for handling existing clients, build and maintain strong relationship to ensure client retention is effectively manage.
- Develop additional revenue streams with existing key clients
- Develop business opportunities from new leads.
- Responsible for quotation handling including costing and pricing
- Hold and manage regular meetings with commercial and key customer service staff for review of existing business and information sharing
- Account management to keep track of client’s on-going business and review with the customer service manager and team leaders
- Develop and manage commercial procedures and related documentation
- Ensure commercial team implement and review SOP’s closely with regular assessments of shipments and services rendered, with reports on conformance/non-conformance to the operations executive and the clients
- Contract Management to ensure that accepted quotations/contracts are updated in the company’s system, filed, audit-proof, and that their validity is monitored
- Monitor sales revenue per account on a monthly basis in line with company targets
- Review, update and analyze system data and other relevant company reports
- Contract negotiations and liaise with Operation. legal department and management regarding terms, conditions, liabilities and regulatory requirements
- Analyze supply chain processes and recommend methods to improve efficiency
- All adhoc duties assigned by Management
Requirements and Qualifications
- Tertiary Educated major in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field (preferred)
- 3+ years of logistics, supply chain management, or account management experience
- Sales experience a plus
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
