Supply Chain Project Manager

JOB SUMMARY

Drive ongoing enhancements and increased efficiency within Supply Chain which includes business systems, process development, and change management within the supply chain organization. Actively engage with project team members to identify and understand pain points and deliver an effective lean solution.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Work with project core team members to develop new processes or enhance existing processes to increase the efficiency of supply chain process and allow Jabil to stay in front of our competition from a supply chain management standpoint.

Forge successful relationships with the stakeholders and provide value based strategic assessment of current state follow with solution recommendation.

Interfaces with the functional business teams to conceptualize and assist in building valuable solutions, products and service.

Assists with the supervision of the development progress of the products with internal and external development teams as well as IT

Document, test and deploy new supply chain processes and training plans.

Establish metrics for evaluating successful process implementation.

Coordinate with users to address their concerns to ensure successful deployment.

Develop and implement an effective dashboard or metric pack for executive review at appropriate aggregation level using the most appropriate tool.

Facilitates communication as appropriate to all stakeholders including escalating issues to next level of management level.

Track, drive and communicate all changes and enhancements.

Demonstrate a return on investment for all enhancements made to Jabil’s supply chain tools or processes.

Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.

Comply, follow, and enforce all procedures within the company security policy.

May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

Creative, inventive and innovative

Advance PC skill with high proficiency in Microsoft office suite

A self starter with the ability to work intuitively and with minimal supervision

Strong problem solving, analytic, negotiation, project management and people skills

Ability to deal effectively with different functional personnel to drive results.

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, summarize information and draw valid conclusions.

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from stakeholders

Knowledge and exposure in Lean Six Sigma will be beneficial.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree required.

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a supply chain operation or in supply chain solutions.

SAP experience will be beneficial.
