Job Description
- Coordinate material planning and procurement activities to meet sales requirements:
- Solicit and evaluate vendor quotations for each inquiry, engaging in price negotiations as necessary.
- Oversee inventory stocking policies to optimize supply assurance while minimizing inventory holding, utilizing MRP and setting minimum inventory levels.
- Generate and dispatch purchase orders (PO) to suppliers for required parts, adhering to the company's established inventory stocking policies.
- Facilitate the issuance of Certificates of Origin (COO) and Certificates of Quantity & Quality (COQ) for Genset Assembly.
- Ensure the accuracy of all orders and maintain communication with suppliers via telephone and email for follow-up.
- Coordinate, arrange, and oversee shipments with freight forwarders.
- Monitor delivery schedules with both local and overseas suppliers.
- Proactively track shipments to ensure timely delivery and address any issues related to undelivered goods.
Job Requirement
- Diploma in Business Studies or relevant courses
- Min 3 Years of Relevant Experience
- Experience in purchasing of Marine Parts/Manufacturing Industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel
- Experience in SAP
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- 8.30pm - 5.15pm
- Location Tuas
