MISSION

The mission of the Website, Social Media and Community Manager is to develop awareness, improve the School’s image on the Internet, creating and sharing content, and fostering interaction on various social media platforms as well as on the IFS website, in line with the communication plan.

He/she is responsible for building the school’s community — both online and offline — while also shaping public perception through compelling content and fostering meaningful interactions.

He/she contributes to develop and improve internal communication via the intranet and possible internal social networks.


RESPONSABILITES

Managing the School’s Website and Intranet:

  • Establishing and implementing an editorial calendar for updating the Website
  • Ensuring the update of the Website and intranet by coordinating the group of stakeholders (contributors and validators)
  • Creating, writing and publishing content online (texts, images, photos, videos, sounds).
  • Providing technical and operational support to implement the improvements desired by the various stakeholders (blogs, reservation system, online application system, etc.).
  • Improving and optimizing the Website and intranet
  • Guaranteeing the conformity and editorial quality of the content with the Lycée's graphic charter, internal and Singaporean regulations (CPE, PPDA)
  • Supporting the IFS teams on the tools, uses and good practices of communication on the Internet
  • Following the website's reputation and commitment indicators
  • Ensuring the referencing and visibility of the website in search engines

Animating social media:

  • Establishing and implementing an editorial calendar on social networks
  • Setting and implementing social media and communication campaigns to align with marketing strategies
  • Providing engaging text, image and video content for social media accounts
  • Coordinate with teachers and staff, directors and Admissions teams to ensure message consistency and cover all aspects of the school’s life and full cycle of the student/family journey.
  • Responding to comments and customer queries in a timely manner
  • Cultivating the school’s presence online
  • Ensuring their compliance with the various regulations and the graphic charter, and their editorial quality
  • Developing and building loyalty among Internet user communities by facilitating online exchanges
  • Monitoring and reporting on feedback and online reviews
  • Organising and participating in events to build community and boost brand awareness
  • Identifying and proposing new online communication channels for the School
  • Monitoring the visibility and engagement indicators of each social network
  • Contributing to the press review by monitoring the school’s presence and its competition on the Web

Others

  • Managing the content of the multimedia screens on the school premises in coordination with the Maintenance team
  • Assisting the communication & marketing manager when required

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Bachelor degree in multimedia and social networks
  • At least 2 years of experience in digital communication, webmaster and/or community manager
  • Experience launching community initiatives
  • Knowledge of online marketing and marketing channels, SEO best-practices
  • Excellent verbal and written skills in English. Proficiency in French is a plus
  • Listening and interpersonal skills
