Marketing Operation Specialist (MNC / 4 Month Contract)

The primary functions of the Marketing Operations Specialist are:


  • Assist with coordination of Regional customer facing and internal marketing events, working individually or with the team in scheduling and planning, estimating costs and managing to completion; events include exhibitions, congresses, workshops, information days, team meetings and clinical seminars across Asia Pacific, Japan and India.
  • Provide marketing support to Product Marketing Managers to support customer engagement.
  • Conduct marketing activities, including product support; product advertising/promotion; planning, developing and implementing multiple channel programs.
  • Support the marketing strategy on the planning and implementation of projects directed at developing marketing campaigns to promote Company that ultimately maximise growth opportunities of the region.
  • Support Company Brand presence and voice within APJ in conjunction with corporate communication
  • Maintain marketing assets as well as support the execution of optimizing the usage of these assets, gathering insights and analytics on the same.
  • Working with the regional Digital Marketing Specialist ensure all new assets such as customer presentations, video content, customer facing collateral and internal documents receive appropriate approvals through legal, regulatory and compliance following the promotional review committee process and procedure
  • Coordination and supervision of document management according to the rules and regulations required by the quality manual
  • Assist in the management of the annual operating and marketing expenditure budget to ensure it is consistent with overall marketing strategies and objectives
  • Prepare payment requisition for SG office vendors (property, electricity, rental, cleaning service, etc.) through Cumulus/SAP. Match vendor invoices with documents and request for approval via eSign/DocuSign.
  • Vendor code request and/or change through SAP for new and existing vendors.
  • Maintain event budgets for audit and planning requirements; maintain budget records for marketing activities undertaken; liaise with Finance regarding budget updates
  • Assisting with promotional and communication activities that support the Marketing Strategy
  • Increase job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities provided by the Company
  • Keep informed of policies, product and marketing strategies and of Company major characteristics
  • Ensure adherence to WHS policies and procedures; complying with any reasonable instructions, policies and procedures, as well as taking reasonable care for your own health and safety and that of others.

Experience, Skills and Requirements

  • 1-2 years in Event Co-ordination, Hospitality, Communications roles
  • Knowledge of medical devices industry would be advantageou and Key Account Management would be advantageous
  • Microsoft Office skills – strong in Word and PowerPoint, intermediate Excel and working knowledge of graphic design tools used in Desktop Publishing (Canvas. Adobe)
  • Experience with SAP
  • Strong organisation, administration and co-ordination skills
  • Flexibility to manage multiple tasks at a time and to deliver to deadlines, at times under pressure
  • Strong team player and committed to supporting the objectives of the business.
