We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Manager with experience in the construction industry to join our team. The Contract Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of contracts, subcontracts, and procurement activities to ensure compliance, mitigate risks, and maximize value for construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop and negotiate contracts and subcontracts with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors in accordance with project requirements and company policies.
- Review contract documents, including terms and conditions, specifications, and scope of work, to identify potential risks, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and legal counsel to ensure contracts are accurately drafted, reviewed, and executed in a timely manner.
- Manage contract administration activities, including document control, change order management, and compliance tracking, to ensure contract compliance and adherence to project schedules and budgets.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for contract-related inquiries, clarifications, and disputes, working collaboratively with stakeholders to resolve issues and mitigate risks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, business administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Contract Manager in the construction industry, with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
- In-depth knowledge of construction contracts, subcontracting practices, and procurement processes.
- Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and advocate for the company's interests.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on identifying and mitigating risks.
