Business Development Sales Manager/ Director (Recruitment Agency)

Job Description

Main responsibility is to manage team to identify and develop business opportunities for the company’s services in recruitment placement, payroll outsourcing, executive search and HR consultancy. The incumbent will also be required to promote company’s services at (but not limited to) networking events, trade and career fairs.


Identify and develop business opportunities

  • Proactively hunt for target organisations and establish communications with those businesses that can benefit from our company’s services.
  • Responsible for own lead generation and appointment setting
  • Actively and successfully manage the sales process: lead generation, credentials pitch, asking questions, solution pitch, negotiation, close and follow-up.
  • Create and be accountable for all client proposals, contracts and any further documentation, following procedure.
  • Further develop multi-tier relationships to organically grow the clients’ accounts.
  • Build referral and lead generation network.
  • Follow up all leads generated from website, networking sessions, trade fairs and other events/ contacts.
  • Develop and implement strategies for new products and services.
  • Determine new opportunities by analysing business needs.
  • Responding to tenders and requests for information in a timely manner.

Account Management

  • Increase company’s involvement with clients
  • Manage company-and-client relationship together with the various division team leaders.
  • Serve as a lead facilitator both internally and externally for projects.

Requirements

  • Degree in any disciplines with minimum 5 years of experience in business development/ sales management.
  • Prior experience in recruitment is required.
  • Demonstrate experience in developing new business, negotiating contracts and pricing and managing higher level client relationships.
  • Strong account management and relationship building skills.
  • Strong market knowledge.
  • Resourceful and possess high initiatives and ability to work with stakeholders across divisions.
