We are looking for like-minded individuals to join our business development team - if you have the passion in creating an impact and/or are keen in the space of environmental sustainability, we want you!

Here is what you are expecting to be doing:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to drive sales and revenue growth in the B2B software market, especially so in the carbon inventory management & carbon credit market space.
  • Identify and prioritize new business opportunities, including strategic partnerships, channel alliances, and enterprise sales.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging Environmental, Social & Governance-based (ESG) trends, competitive threats, and customer needs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-suite executives, decision-makers, and influencers.
  • Lead negotiations and contract discussions to secure strategic partnerships, licensing agreements, and large-scale software deployments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and customer success, to ensure alignment and maximize opportunities.
  • Track and analyze sales performance metrics, pipeline development, and market trends to inform strategic decision-making and drive continuous improvement.

Skills that will help you in this role:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in business development or sales leadership roles within the B2B software industry, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Deep understanding of the B2B software market, including industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer pain points.
  • Deep understanding of the Environmental, Social & Governance-based (ESG) framework and the sustainability space (i.e carbon management)
  • Strong strategic planning and analytical skills, with the ability to develop and execute complex sales strategies.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence senior-level decision-makers.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience in building and managing high-performing sales teams.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for driving results and achieving ambitious goals.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
