Job Description:
Reporting into the Procurement Executive, this incumbent will assist the Executive in the coordination and documentation of procurement-related activities.
- Coordinate with requestors to ensure the right materials, specifications, quantities and timelines for delivery are well stated in the request
- Prepare, verify, abstract, control and close out procurement documents, files, reports, or records
- Track the status of requisitions, contracts, and orders using automated or manual files and through contacts with vendors, inventory managers and engineers
- Review reports and research errors or conflicting information in procurement documentation
- Escalate to supervisor all emerging risks of administrative issues and push for resolutions
Job Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Business Studies or supply chain related discipline
- Minimum 3 years of procurement experience preferred
- Experience from manufacturing industries preferred
- Familiar with ERP System (SAP System)
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Pleasant disposition with good communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive, positive, and responsible individual
- Able to work under tight deadlines with a strong sense of urgency
