We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Executive to join our team for a 6-month contract with the potential for conversion to a full-time, permanent position based on performance.
Work Time Profile:
- Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm
- Hybrid work
- 6-months contract to permanent role
Responsibilities:
- Manage the full Accounts Payable (AP) cycle, including weekly payment processing, invoice entry/validation, statement of account (SOA) reconciliation, and vendor communication.
- Ensure timely and accurate closing of the AP module, maintaining data integrity.
- Guarantee on-time payments to suppliers through meticulous review of SOAs to avoid missed invoices.
- Generate and analyze AP-related reports, providing valuable insights for financial decision-making.
- Assist with fixed asset management tasks.
- Take on ad-hoc projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
- Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience in a medium-sized organization (or larger).
- Hands-on experience working with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
- Strong understanding of Goods and Services Tax (GST) regulations.
- Meticulous with a logical mind, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Comfortable handling some manual processes outside the system, including reading and communicating in Mandarin.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
