Introduction:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading strategic initiatives, planning and executing sales strategies, and coordinating business development activities. This role is critical in liaising with government agencies, stakeholders, and senior management to drive business growth.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve assigned goals.
- Execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Coordinate business development plans and programs to increase sales.
- Familiarize the team with project management methodologies and provide training as needed.
- Conduct training on assigned topics, including project management and relevant Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements.
- Provide strategic advice to senior management as required.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and client needs.
- Analyze industry trends, competitive landscape, and market data to inform business strategies.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the training industry and emerging trends.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business.
- Develop and implement strategies to acquire new clients and expand the customer base.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with clients to assess satisfaction and identify new needs.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
- Advanced degree in Business Administration preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety.
- Full Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA) certification.
- Valid Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Proven experience in both the shipyard and construction industries.
- Extensive experience in organizing sales promotional campaigns and roadshows.
