Purchasing Assistant

Job responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the assigned department.
  • Provide direct administrative support to department manager/ supervisor, including email correspondence, and generation and distribution of memos, letters, spreadsheets, reports, and work orders, purchase orders
  • Maintain and update department databases
  • Prepare reports on department expenses and budgets
  • Maintain filing system, contact database and inventories
  • Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Requirements:

  • GCE N-Level or equivalent
  • Proven administrative experience
  • Strong time-management skills and multitasking ability
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with aptitude to learn new software and systems
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations in a calm and professional manner
