In this position, you will be working closely with leaders within Technology Services and functional units to identify internal operational improvement opportunities, design and implement processes, solutions in alignment with project strategies and business objectives - with the eventual goal of ISO 27001 certification. Ideally, you should also be conversant with ITSM, ITSMS concepts and operations.
A segment of this role will also include supporting and assisting with technology controls, governance and compliance activities.
In the course of work, you will be involved in:
- Advocating and driving operational improvements through process streamlining and technology within Technology Services department. This will span across IT service management system processes and operational areas including procurement to enhance ITSMS maturity with eventual goal of ISO 27001 certification.
- Process mapping and blueprinting, business requirements harmonising and translation to Business Requirements Document (BRD).
- Working alongside stakeholders to operationalise process, system changes.
- Developing training materials and conducting training where appropriate.
- Developing appropriate process metrics and KPIs for performance reporting.
- Supporting Governance lead in governance, risk, and compliance activities including (not limited to) the following:
- Maintain and update documents and records on ITSMS, ISO 27001 etc.
- Establish and maintain proper documentation control & distribution.
- Ensure system compliance & preparations for Management Review.
- Conduct internal reviews. Ensure readiness for 3rd party certification.
- Liaise with external auditors and certification bodies in conducting audits.
- Review audit findings and develop action plans.
- Manage internal and external corrective action reports.
Requirements:
- Degree in Business or IT preferred with ITIL certification. CBAP will be a bonus.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in business process analyst role or equivalent management consulting, quality management experience.
- Adept at flowcharting and process blueprinting.
- Understands and experience with information security risk management, governance, internal controls, IT compliance and audits.
- Meticulous, strong analytical ability, documentation and project management skills.
- Good interpersonal, communication, decision-making skills and a responsible attitude.
- Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.
- Familiarity with at least one of the industry standards and best practices such as ISO/IEC 27001, SOC 2, and NIST.
- Prior experience in Business Process Management projects, ITSM (ITIL), ITSMS processes.
