The Job:
We are seeking a Part-Time HR Assistant to support our HR department in various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will assist with recruitment processes, maintain employee records, and contribute to HR projects as needed. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files, HR databases, and attendance records.
- Coordinate new hire onboarding processes, including preparing new hire paperwork, conducting orientations, and ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
- Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment processes, communication with employees, and coordination with benefits providers.
- Implement HR projects and initiatives, such as employee engagement programs, performance management processes, and HR policy updates.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations, including Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) guidelines and data protection regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive HR information and handle employee inquiries with professionalism and discretion.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in HR administration or related field preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Flexible schedule to accommodate part-time hours.
