Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Strategy: Develop and implement the financial strategy for the Group in alignment with ICE overall business objectives.
- Corporate Finance: Coordinate and support future capital raising activities of the Group.
- Financial Planning and Analysis: Manage the Group's financial operations, including annual budgeting process and forecasting.
- Cashflow Management and Treasury: Manage the cash flow and liquidity position of the Company. Implement effective cash management strategies and foreign exchange risk management.
- Risk Management: Ensure that the financial controls, transactions, policies, and procedures meet the Group's short and long-term business objectives and are conducted in accordance with regulations, accounting principles, and best practice.
- Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and communication of financial statements and ensure the timely reporting of key financial data and updates within the company and to investors, where required.
- Financial Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulation, accounting standards and internal controls. Facilitate audit and reviews with external auditor.
- Team Management: Oversight of the Finance team and managing the team’s ongoing professional development and training.
- Corporate Structuring: Collaborates closely with the executive leadership team in developing any corporate structuring activities.
- Project Financing: Work closely with the Regional Heads, and other members of the executive leadership team, in matters of project financing strategy and other project level financing decisions that require finance input.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- Degree in a finance-related field with a minimum of 10 years related working experience.
- Proven experience as a senior finance executive or senior vice president with at least 5 years leading finance teams.
- Experience in fund raising and working with institutional investors.
- Experience in working in a fund management role or with start-ups / growth stage companies would be an added advantage.
- Experience in the energy and infrastructure sector.
- Team player who can strike the right balance between operating independently and being self-motivated, while embracing the transparent and collegiate work style of the existing team.
- Strong communication skills, good attention to detail and organised.
