This role is responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and support of enterprise network systems and infrastructure. This role requires a deep understanding of networking technologies, protocols, and best practices to ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability of network systems.
- Design and deploy network infrastructure solutions, including LAN, WAN, and wireless cisco networks.
- Conduct network diagnostics and on-site troubleshooting, identifying and rectifying connectivity and performance problems.
- Implement network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems such as fortigate / Zscaler systems
- Perform routine maintenance and updates of remote network equipment.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures for both central and remote sites.
- Collaborate with other IT teams, both remotely and on-site, to ensure seamless operation of the IT infrastructure.
- Monitor network performance, ensuring maximum uptime and optimal functionality.
- Respond to security incidents and breaches, including on-site support when necessary.
- Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, changes, and incident reports
- Lead and manage network-related projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support organizational goals and initiatives
Requirements include:
- Diploma or degree in computing/networking/telecommunications
- CCNA
- Familiar with Cisco networking solutions and equipments
- Good communications
- Familiarity with virtualization and cloud networking (e.g., VMware, AWS, Azure).
