DC & system health checks
Monitor DC temperature and energy consumption of all facility infrastructure components such as power distribution units and computer room air conditioners unit using Data Centre Infrastructure Management tool in place.
Monitor systems and network devices health status using a existing monitoring tools.
Assist in performing scheduled system health check on standalone networks.
Report any anomaly in readings based on allocated baseline or system hardware failure.
Assist in contacting maintenance team and be the point of contact on site.
Log findings in the System Configuration Registrar. The information that needs to be recorded shall include, but not limited to:
- Date/Time hardware failure was discovered and reported
- Date/Time call was log to maintenance team.
- Date/Time and name of maintenance personnel who came to rectify faulty hardware.
- Name of ops support team member who oversees the reporting and rectification.
