Lab Engineer- 6 months contract, up to $3,800 per month
Working hours: Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm

Job Description
- contribute to innovation and quality improvements for wastewater surveillance at the Environmental Health Institute
- Drive innovation and quality improvement for environmental sampling projects
- Manage contracts, procurement, inventory and data to ensure for smooth and timely operations
- Co-ordinate and communicate with various stakeholders for updates, information and collaboration
- Conduct field operations including such as field sampling, site feasibility assessment, deployments, equipment troubleshooting/maintenance and safety/audit checks, as and when required
- Ongoing review of work processes to enhance operations and improve safety, if applicable
Requirement
- Degree or diploma qualification in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical Engineering
- Keen interest to develop new capabilities through projects and self-learning
- Proactive, independent and initiative in carrying out assigned tasks
- Meticulous and experienced in managing sets of data for analysis, and proficient in Microsoft Office tools
- Good awareness with a “Safety First” mindset
- Comfortable working in the field and in handling wastewater with appropriate PPE and equipment, as and when required
- Good written and verbal communication skills
