We are currently seeking a proficient IT Operations Manager to ensure regulatory compliance, mitigate vendor risks, and enhance IT satisfaction across the Asia Pacific region. This role acts as a liaison between our business stakeholders and a global IT organization, maintaining our infrastructure, overseeing compliance efforts, and managing reporting initiatives. Ideal candidates excel in multitasking, collaborating with diverse stakeholders, and meeting project deadlines promptly.
Responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with our legal, compliance, and operations teams to deliver regulatory reporting, compliance training, and audit responses.
- Supporting the Senior Director in various regional roles, including participation in emergency response teams and compliance leadership positions.
- Working closely with our IT partner to ensure high satisfaction levels, manage operational issues, and monitor change management processes.
- Presenting IT operations updates to our senior leadership in the Asia Pacific region.
- Collaborating with regional leadership to manage IT budgets, optimize costs, and negotiate vendor contracts.
- Conducting vendor risk assessments and monitoring third-party risks.
- Analyzing ticketing metrics and suggesting improvements to enhance our support model.
- Managing stakeholder demands and leading teams to resolve IT-related issues.
Requirements:
- Fluency in English and either Japanese or Mandarin.
- Over 5 years of experience in IT operations management, preferably in a global setting.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Technical proficiency in IT is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Experience in Singapore and/or Japan markets is preferred.
- Ability to navigate a large organization and manage competing priorities.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Strategic mindset aligning IT operations with business objectives.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance frameworks.
- Understanding of IT governance frameworks like ITIL and COBIT; relevant certifications are advantageous.
