Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily laboratory operations and conduct scientific analyses of precious metals content.
- Oversee the establishment and setup of laboratory facilities.
- Ensure adherence to strict hygiene protocols within the laboratory.
- Manage the maintenance of analytical and laboratory equipment.
- Provide guidance to team members on the preparation and execution of precious metals tests.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for analysis and testing in accordance with company standards.
- Lead the development of testing and analytical techniques for the refinement of gold and silver.
- Collaborate closely with business and team members to support company objectives.
- Participate in the recruitment and retention of laboratory staff.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field.
- Min of 4 years of experience in Laboratory Management.
- Strong knowledge and experience in ICP & XRF analysis
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in laboratory operations.
