Assistant Director of Sales

We are looking for a leader who is driven and resourceful, with sharp business acumen and analytical skills.


Your responsibilities include (but not limited to):

· To achieve personal budgeted revenues, which includes corporate, catering and residential meeting revenues (budgeted room sales Revenue; ADR and Room Nights)

· Sell all available products

· To assist in the development and implementation of the annual business plan, by providing market and client feedback

· Lead sales strategies and drive results

· Establishes and maintains relationships with new and existing accounts to ensure the hotel receives, at a minimum, its fair market share from the company’s citywide production

· Developing new accounts and managing selected key accounts

· Conduct site inspection and discussion with potential clients

· Involvement with Business Travel and attending Tradeshow if required

· Ensure an effective sales call plan is implemented, and report results accordingly.

· Ensure forward sales plans and sales activity reports are submitted on time, and all filing systems (electronic/paper) and data bases are kept up to date.

· Monitors competitor activity including product and rate changes

· Conduct research on the market and potential new accounts

· Assist in the planning and execution of corporate events, both in the hotel and externally (corporate account offices)

· Be a support to the Director of Sales


Requirements:

· Minimum 01 year experience in a similar capacity

· A successful background in hotel industry room / corporate group sales

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Team player

· Works well under pressure
