Responsibilities
- Identify and develop alternative suppliers to reduce supply risk upon receiving RFQs.
- Prioritize cost reduction while maintaining quality and compliance.
- Negotiate favorable terms in quotations/contracts for the company's benefit.
- Address supply-related issues such as damages, delays, and payments within authority.
- Conduct supplier audits and performance reviews to ensure adherence to regulations.
- Assist in drafting or refining contracts for manager approval.
- Manage daily purchase orders, amendments, and coordinate specification changes.
- Prepare summary reports and handle ad-hoc requests.
- Any Ad-hoc tasks delegated by the supervisor.
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in relevant field
- 3-5 years of working experience in purchasing functions
- Experience in SAP system will be an added advantage
