Key Account Manager

Givaudan Singapore Pte Ltd

Responsibilities:

  • Grow our Personal Care business in South East Asia
  • Plan and lead account activities including defense of existing business and pursuing new opportunities, in close collaboration with development teams
  • Manage project pipeline, prioritizing resource and anticipating and preparing for future opportunities
  • Pricing & Margin Management
  • Follow up on client's projects and submissions
  • Drive customer intimacy and strategic engagement with the Client’s Brand teams and Perfume Managers at the client’s end
  • Help develop the annual account Plan with annual sales budget and goals for the category
  • Monitor competitor activity and provide strategic input to clients overall Marketing plans

Requirements:

  • University degree in any area of study
  • At least 5 years experience as an account manager in the fragrance industry or specialty chemicals
  • Competence in olfactive and story telling skills (ability to define, recognize and memorize olfactive notes and fragrance language terms, and determine olfactive directions)
  • Worked with global teams and managed important partner relationships through project management including a desire to grow the category by developing comprehensive Account and Category Strategies
  • Fluency in English
