HR Generalist, HR Shared Services

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Group HR, you will be responsible for the design and successful execution of HR transactional processes and lead the progression of the function which includes broadening of the scope of services provided and streamlining of workflow through use of automation and technology.


You will support the implementation of HR projects / initiatives, with the primary focus to deliver world-class HR Shared Services for the group.


RESPONSIBILITIES

HR Operations – Recruitment, Onboarding, Offboarding, HRIS & HR Admin

• Support in recruitment efforts including screening of candidates, arrangement of interviews and preparation of employment contracts

• Support the onboarding and offboarding process of employees

• Manage and maintain confidential employee records including input of data into HRIS and filing.

• Responsible for tracking and administrating staff career movement and progression - onboarding, confirmation, transfers, promotion, cessation.

• Prepare and participate in the preparation of staff development plans, performance appraisals, and assess skills necessary to achieve work objectives.

• All other ad-hoc tasks / on-going HR Shared Services projects assigned


Payroll Administration

• Responsible for timely monthly payroll processing and ensure timely monthly CPF & levy submission

• IRAS preparation & submission and tax clearance for expats

• Perform end-of-year processing

• Handling enquiries on payroll matters


Leave, Staff Expenses, Benefits Management & Statutory Claims

• Manage and administer staff insurance claims

• Provide advice, assistance and follow up on all staff insurance claims matters.

• Participate in mandatory regulatory survey and salary benchmarking survey

• Ensure the timely submission of statutory claims including maternity leave, enhanced childcare leave claims, NS claims, etc.

• Manage work pass applications, from the entire application and renewal process

• Handle all leave & benefits related queries.

• Review staff expense claims on a monthly basis to ensure compliant to company’s policy

• Prepare ad-hoc leave reports based on requirements from stakeholders


Government Grants

• Support the management of government grant on matters relating to HR and manpower information / expenses

• Support the audit activities required for grant submission and reimbursements.



REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive Human Resources (HR)

• Preferably HR Generalist / HR Shared Service experience with at least 3 years in administering or management of payroll.

• Possess a Bachelor's degree from a reputable university.

• Tech-savvy and high interest in adopting technology to streamline and simplify HR processes.

• Ability to prioritize, multi-task and manage multiple projects successfully in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivery of quality/accurate work products

• Logical reasoning and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues.

• Ability to work both independently and within teams in order to establish and meet deadlines, goals, and objectives.

• Driven, high energy; self-motivated and results-oriented.

• Ability to communicate and interact effectively with different levels of the organization to negotiate, problem solve, complete projects and influence decision making.

• Proficiency in spoken and written Mandarin is an important required due to the Group’s sizeable presence in the China market.
