This is a 6-months Maternity Cover
Support the Singapore Compliance team in managing daily compliance activities for the Singapore branch, ensuring alignment with the requirements of the Monetary Authority of Singapore and all relevant compliance-related laws and regulations, as well as internal policies and procedures. This individual will assist the Head of General Compliance & Monitoring and Testing in providing general compliance advisory and conducting monitoring and testing programs for Private Banking and Treasury & Trading activities.
Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance on Singapore Private Banking policies and procedures, aligning with both group directives and local regulatory standards.
- Offer advice on Asia Treasury & Trading requirements to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Conduct monitoring and testing initiatives for Private Banking Treasury and Trading activities.
- Generate working papers and draft monitoring reports, ensuring thorough documentation and follow-up on issue resolution.
- Support in the preparation and submission of compliance/regulatory reports for various stakeholders, including management, regulators, and auditors.
- Collaborate with the Head of General Compliance & Monitoring and Testing in the review of new products, activities, and changes to existing ones.
- Contribute to the development of materials for Compliance training sessions.
- Assist in audits, inspections, and investigations as necessary.
- Aid the Head of General Compliance & Monitoring and Testing in miscellaneous work tasks.
- Participate in ad hoc special projects as assigned.
Requirements:
- Possess a minimum bachelor’s degree.
- Hold 5 to 8 years of pertinent experience in Private Banking.
- Capable of offering alternative solutions to business challenges.
- Demonstrate excellent interactive, communication, and writing skills.
- Display motivation and innovation in approach.
- Exhibit strong teamwork abilities.
