As a Regional Procurement Business Partner based in Singapore, you will support the business for the portfolio of Nespresso markets under your responsibility on all procurement related matters. You will also manage the relationship between the various Nestlé sourcing entities ensuring the delivery of the key projects identified in your markets. You will be the leader of the Source to Pay process in your markets and collaborate on improvement initiatives.
What will be your key responsibilities
- Be the first point of contact for the procurement function in your markets for business stakeholders and global/regional category teams
- Understand Nespresso strategies and priorities and translate that into requirements ensuring that the information is provided to all Levels of Category Leadership
- Guarantee the integration of business needs into procurement strategies considering market evolution, specificities and expected innovations
- Develop, manage and prioritize the procurement activities and engage with Above Market procurement teams to effectively deliver against Nespresso strategies
- Present category strategies and sourcing plans to the markets and ensure a good understanding of such information by local market leadership
- Give regular feedback to the local market (supply market evolution, industry outlooks, forward pricing and hedging) as and when applicable
- Ensure information related to local operations (trade, tariff and legal requirements and regulations for the geography/countries in scope) is provided to all relevant category teams
- Drive change and implement global/regional initiatives at market level
- Ensure that suppliers selected by category teams are compliant to Nestlé requirements
What your experience should include
- 10-12 years regional experience in cross-functional procurement roles
- University degree in Procurement, Business Administration, Supply Chain and/or Engineering
- A proven track record in transforming business needs into procurement strategies through management of purchasing for at least one spend category
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to effectively interact, convince and influence multiple stakeholders at various levels
- Proven negotiation and presentation skills
- Demonstrated skills of entrepreneurship and ability to successfully lead multiple projects
- An ability to add value in key business unit meetings and influence top management
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Strong global business acumen
- Fluency in English; other languages are an asset
- Business insight: Detailed knowledge of individual businesses and Functions strategies
- Financial understanding – Key business drivers, budget and forecasting
