Job Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual to join us as a Production Support Analyst supporting banking systems and applications.
Mandatory Skill-set
- Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Business Information Technology or related disciplines;
- At least 2 years of experience providing support to business systems and applications in banking or financial service sectors;
- Possesses good knowledge on Financial accounting, Regulatory reporting or Management accounting;
- Able to troubleshoot and provide solutions for technical issues and routes to appropriate escalation groups;
- Experience in requirement gathering, user test strategy and documenting test scripts;
- Proficient in SQL, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint;
- Good analytical skills with excellent communication;
- Good in understanding internal processes and resolving issues.
Desired Skill-set
- Working experience in tools such as OBIEE, Power BI or Qlik Sense.
Responsibilities
- Incident and Problem management;
- Monitor, maintain and troubleshoot production issues for various systems and applications;
- Provide root cause analysis techniques to determine cause and resolve system issues;
- Perform post-resolution follow-ups to ensure problems have been adequately resolved;
- Take part in requirements gathering, perform user acceptance testing, communicate application problems and issues to key stakeholders, development teams, end users, and unit leaders;
- Work with onsite and offshore teams across multiple technologies/applications;
- Management of production services by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, throughput, user journeys and overall system health.
