Job Purpose Statement

Responsible for the development and growth of the Company business, developing and maintaining effective existing relationships with a portfolio of strategic, complex healthcare, clinic and hospital accounts; drive profitable, sustainable growth in these accounts for the Company; develop and implement an effective account plan with a desired outcome to build revenue and expand the footprint regionally.

Responsibilities

Business Development

  • Develop effective strategies to drive improved profitable, market penetration and sustainable growth both in Singapore and in the region in healthcare space.
  • Responsible for implementing the strategic account strategy to maximize new service opportunities while acting as the client advocate.
  • Responsible for communicating and leveraging the value delivered to expand the client relationship and increase business growth opportunities.
  • Create opportunities for selling unique, value-added solutions through the effective positioning of the full spectrum of the Company portfolio.
  • Manage the business development and marketing functions to maximize returns and expand business.
  • Build solid relationships with customers.
  • Promote company products/services to both partners and customers.
  • Assess business risks by analyzing financial, statistical, and economic data.
  • Drive business development process end-to-end from prospecting, qualifying, initial presentations, proposals preparation, negotiations to closure in contracting and post-sales account servicing.
  • Prepare all documentation required for requests for proposals (RFPs).

Develop New Market

  • Identify opportunities in current portfolio, plan and effective execution to drive revenue growth and profitability.
  • Drive sales numbers through aggressive development of new opportunities, sales pursuits, including revenue, contracts signed, customer satisfaction and profitability.
  • Open new market, develop executable strategies.
  • Oversee the planning and implementation of business plans for the penetration of new markets locally and in the region.
  • Research emerging trends and recommend new company offerings to satisfy customers' needs.
  • Develop and manage strategic partnerships to grow business.

Team Management

  • Lead, motivate and inspire team to successfully execute client strategies and tactics to maximize sales effectiveness and increase win rates.
  • Monitor activities of business development and marketing team to ensure compliance with set standards and procedures for operation.
  • Any other duties as assigned from time to time.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in economics, business, or related subject from recognised institutions
  • A proven track record in significant/complex consultative services-led sales engagements and multiparty negotiations with partners and clients.
  • More than 10 years’ experience in proactively engaging with Managing Director/CEO/Senior VP within client organizations with proven track records in sales and business development across different cultural settings, preferably in healthcare industry.
  • Driven with keen interest to learn the products, including performing high level product presentation and demonstration.
  • Experience of having developed and executed business strategies to substantially increase account growth and revenues.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional leadership and management skills.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to win and maintain customers’ trust and respect.
  • Highly professional image and customer focused attitude.
  • Ability to work under pressure with tight schedule in fast paced environment.
  • Strong time/project management and organization and leadership skills.
  • Willing to travel
