What you'll do:
As a Trade Operations Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting Global Market Operations. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include processing payments, calculating daily obligations, investigating discrepancies, and providing support on various queries and projects. You will need to manage your own time effectively, prioritise your workload, meet deadlines, and respond well under pressure. This role requires someone who is meticulous, analytical, proactive, confident, detail-focused, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Process payments and funding in an accurate and timely manner
- Provide accurate and timely calculation of the bank’s daily obligations across multiple entities
- Investigate discrepancies to align funding projections figures across different business units
- Investigate and analyse discrepancies between cash and ledger
- Support treasury on desk and stakeholders on various queries and projects relating to funding and payments
- Undertake any other ad hoc duties/projects as required and assigned
What you bring:
The ideal Trade Operations Analyst will bring a range of skills to this role. You should hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification, but we are also open to fresh graduates who are ready for an exciting start in their career. You should be proactive, confident, detail-focused, able to coordinate with Treasury and Operational teams independently. Excellent communication skills are essential for this role. You should be able to work under pressure in a team environment and demonstrate experience meeting multiple daily cut-offs. Strong analytical skills are also necessary.
