Aramex Singapore is expanding and we are seeking Field Sales, Express to join our Singapore team and will be reporting to the Head of Sales.
What are the roles and responsibilities?
- Source opportunities and acquire new business revenue for Aramex domestic express services, focusing on multi-channel retailers and brands.
- Identify, gain, and develop account opportunities through targeted prospecting, networking, and relationship building.
- Achieve assigned quota for signings and revenue plans, meeting or exceeding sales targets and objectives.
- Utilize solution selling techniques to position Aramex domestic express services effectively and address customer needs and pain points.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional departments in solution development to achieve desired customer outcomes and deliver innovative shipping solutions.
- Conduct regular performance reviews with customers to assess satisfaction, address concerns, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Grow and expand business across the entire product portfolio through effective negotiation and relationship management with existing and potential customers.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with existing customers, ensuring high levels of customer retention and satisfaction.
- Prospect and gain new customers through targeted sales efforts, presentations, and networking activities.
- Collaborate with the sales team to achieve departmental objectives and contribute to overall company growth.
- Fulfill customer needs and ensure high quality of service delivery, providing timely and effective solutions to customer inquiries and requests.
- Achieve set targets and productivity KPIs, tracking performance metrics and taking proactive measures to drive results.
Requirement for the role:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in the logistics or transportation industry.
- Proven track record of success in sourcing opportunities, acquiring new business revenue, and achieving sales targets.
- Strong understanding of solution selling techniques and account management principles, with experience working with multi-channel retailers and brands.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate value propositions and build rapport with customers.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment, collaborating with colleagues from various departments to achieve common goals.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a drive to exceed targets and objectives.
