What you'll do:
As an Asset Services Analyst, you will play a critical role in our client's business operations. You will be responsible for processing both mandatory and voluntary corporate actions distributions accurately and promptly. Your ability to manage both internal and external stakeholders on Corporate Action issues will be crucial to your success in this role. You will also be expected to adhere strictly to documented procedures, control guidelines and compliance frameworks. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include attending to reconciliation breaks in accounts, ensuring that all queries are attended to promptly, supporting change by assisting in devising improved processes, participating in project initiatives, and managing operational risk associated with the processes.
* Process mandatory and voluntary corporate actions distributions accurately and on a timely basis (e.g. dividends, scrip/currency elections, REITs distributions, interest/redemption)
* Manage internal and external stakeholders on Corporate Action issues
* Adhere to documented procedures, control guidelines and compliance framework
* Attend to reconciliation breaks in accounts on a daily basis
* Ensure that all queries are attended to and investigated promptly
* Support change by assisting in devising and implementing improved processes
* Participate in project initiatives and take up ad hoc tasks as required
* Manage operational risk associated within the processes
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Asset Services Analyst role will bring a wealth of experience with Corporate Actions. She will have the ability to prioritise heavy workloads effectively and work efficiently under pressure in dynamic environments. Her strong PC skills, particularly with Excel and PowerPoint, will enable her to excel in this role. She will also possess strong communication skills which she can use effectively when dealing with both internal and external stakeholders. Her strategic thinking abilities will allow her to devise improved processes that support change within the organisation. Lastly, her good organisational skills will ensure that she can manage operational risk effectively.
