Responsibilities:
- Conducts surface preparation of landing gears and components before painting, including degreasing and masking as required.
- Applies primer and various paint finishes to parts or assemblies using spray techniques.
- Prepares aircraft parts for painting by rough and finishing with sandpaper and hand sanding machines to ensure paint adhesion and a smooth appearance.
- Combine the hardener and filler, applying them to unfinished areas needing smoothing and contouring.
- Utilizes painting equipment such as brushes and spray guns for minor rework or touch-up when necessary.
- Executes compliance with established safety and regulatory procedures.
- Conducts regular equipment checks and maintains equipment in optimal condition.
- Participate in the 5S program and contributes to continuous improvement projects.
- Engages in problem-solving activities and contributes to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) development and improvement initiatives.
- Performs any additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- NITEC in Mechanical or related fields.
- At least 1 year of experience in paint preparation and aircraft spray painting, or equivalent experience.
- Consistently maintains good attendance and punctuality.
- Displays discipline, self-motivation, and a commitment to quality work.
