You should have prior experience in the realm of sales management and have exceptional commercial acumen, to focus on innovation and growth within the media and publishing sector, last but not least, you are highly disciplined, humble and open minded.
Your role will primarily focus on the sales of Lifestyle Asia with an opportunity to cross sell the other sister titles under BurdaLuxury. You will report directly to the Head of Sales and work alongside the regional / local business teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the entire sales cycle process and being a point of contact for existing and new clients
- Calling prospective clients to create awareness and influence buying behaviour
- Deliver strong presentations which are impactful in order to convert to business revenue
- Manage KPIs, forecasts and exceed targets
- Being proactive and creative in business development
- Juggle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a result-oriented environment
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 4-5 years of media sales experience - digital sales experience preferred.
- A university degree is preferred
- A good perspective on brand and business
- Strong passion for sales
- Microsoft office skills, i.e. Word and Excel
- Excellent relationship building skills; oral, written and interpersonal communication
- Team building/player skills
- A high level of cross-cultural and emotional intelligence
