Responsibilities
• Perform platform admin support for Power BI as well as Informatica .
• Admin includes deployment of objects, security setup, server management, creation/maintenance of cronjobs to schedule Informatica jobs etc. on Linux platform.
• Set up and maintain best practice for Informatica.
• Familiar with PBI Fabric – Create and maintain Self-service Workspace and deployment.
• Familiar with Windows scheduler with Power Shell, Power BI.
• Able to perform platform admin like Gateway Server installation, patching with updates from Microsoft
• Able to provide L2/L3 support to identify root cause of Informatica job failure and provide solutions.
• Work closely and provide support to Customer Data Analytics team that uses the platform for development, UAT and production rollout.
• Manage Informatica Enterprise Data Catalog (Data governance).
• Perform upgrade/tech refresh of PBI and Informatica
• Provide on-going operational support.
• Able to follow operational SOP for support; Remedy ITSM is being deployed at customer site.
• Technologies involved : Microsoft Power BI Fabric, Informatica Big Data Developer, Informatica Enterprise Data Catalog
• Must have admin skill sets:
o Informatica Big Data Developer
o Informatica Enterprise Data Catalog
o Microsoft Power BI Fabric
• Candidate with relevant certifications would be an advantage.
