Responsibilities :
- Responsible for developing and maintaining of all commodities such as Energy, Chemical, Paper, etc. related.
- Use market intelligence to identify new suppliers / customers in the region and develop new account, by representing the company at conferences, trade shows etc.
- Manages own / team’s purchasing and selling portfolio, liaise with logistic / operations, and risk management
- teams to ensure smooth, profitable operations
- Participate in entertainment occasions with suppliers and customers in order to adapt into industry culture, as well as to maintain close relationship and well-being
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned
Requirements :
- At least 1-2 years of prior experience in trading experience
- Basic knowledge in Accounting and able to read/analyze financial reports
- Proficiency in Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin speaking customers
- Excel/word/power-point : basic level.
- Willing to travel frequently to meet/visit customers and suppliers at short notice.
- Knowledge in shipping and trade payment modes
