Job Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic communications and media relations support for various business units, including but not limited to Retail, F&B, Human Resource and other corporate or lifestyle functions of Marina Bay Sands, as business needs arises.
- Work with internal stakeholders to develop strategic messaging and PR plans to build a strong and sustainable pipeline of content to meet business objectives, across a variety of communications platforms.
- Cultivate and nurture meaningful relationships with key media and KOLs in various markets, and other important stakeholders to meet business needs.
- Support communications work and media engagement in regional markets, working with the appointed PR agency (if any) to ensure deliverables are met.
- Drive the planning of media/influencer familiarisation trips for the company, including budgeting, content creation, and stakeholder management.
- Assist in ad-hoc projects and milestone events that will enhance the corporate reputation of Marina Bay Sands and showcase it as an iconic global destination.
- Support crisis and issues management work for the company.
- Support the creation and execution of earned media and KOL programmes for the department.
Job Requirements:
Education & Certification
- Degree in Marketing/Communications, or related field preferred
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably in an agency or MNC setting.
Other Prerequisites
- Excellent writing and communications abilities
- A creative self-starter who’s able to work independently and proactively
- Ability to focus, multi-task and accomplish objectives in a dynamic environment
- Excellent knowledge of the media landscape, with regular exposure to international media
- Experience in social media platforms, digital content creation work, and a good understanding of the KOL landscape.
- A good command of Mandarin will be a bonus due to liaising with external and internal stakeholders
