1. Coordinate trade finance activities including letter of credit, trade finance facilities, and other financial instrument
2. Liaise with banks and financial institutions to negotiate favourable terms on bank facilities for shipping and trade transactions
3. Monitor trade finance agreements to ensure compliance with terms and conditions
4. Negotiate and manage documentation related to trade finance transactions, including letters of credit, bills of exchange, and shipping documents
5. Conduct financial analysis to assess the profitability and financial viability of trade transactions
6. Prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts related to shipping and trade finance activities
7. Analyse variances and trends to identify areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements
8. Prepare and monitor treasury forecasts and timely reports cash position to CFO and management
9. Responsible for bank account management, including opening and closing bank accounts and connectivity on all blank platforms
10. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to international trade, finance, and shipping
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance.
- With previous experience in Finance and Accounting in Shipping or logistics industry.
- Knowledge of Accounting Software and Microsoft Office.
- Immediate starter is preferred
