About our client: Our client is a manufacturer of offshore drilling and production equipment that is well-suited for use in deepwater applications.
About the role:
- Responsible for employing measuring techniques to determine the most desirable supplier.
- Monitoring supplier performance and recommend necessary action to improve performance (if necessary)
- Monitoring lead times per commodity and adjust as necessary
- Develops and schedules for the execution of the work using internal or subcontracted services, and monitors progress of work.
- Preparing confidential information.
- Perform expediting functions.
- Developing specifications to allow for competitive acquisition of items of a complex nature.
- Acting as a liaison between suppliers and internal company personnel.
- Developing ASL.
- Coordinate with other departments such as QA/QC/Safety, Purchasing, and Engineering.
- Ensure implementation of appropriate company procedures.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
About you:
- Min 5 years experience
- Preferably Diploma in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering
- Strong IT skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Good planning and organizational skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills

- Work location: Tuas (pick-up transport provided)
- Work hours: Monday to Friday (8am to 5.15pm)
