Responsibilities:
- To support senior engineers or managers in overseeing preventive and corrective maintenance scheduling and coordination work.
- Manage Maintenance Agents or Specialist Contractors' day-to-day activities for electrical systems, including High Tension Panels, LV Main Switchboard, Emergency Main Switchboards, Transformers, Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS), Generators, all Sub-boards/Emergency Sub-boards, and more.
- Assist senior engineers or managers in monitoring the performance of outsourced maintenance service providers and specialist vendors, ensuring adherence to maintenance standards and planned preventive maintenance schedules.
- Ensure swift service recovery for any equipment breakdowns to minimize disruptions to hospital operations.
- Support senior engineers or managers in coordinating improvement projects for hospital services, facilities, and system upgrades. This includes renovation, retrofitting, infrastructure replacement, and enhancement initiatives for specialized systems and facilities.
- Provide guidance and assistance to the maintenance team in diagnosing and resolving specialized system failures. Recommend system condemnations and replacements when necessary.
- Prepare technical specifications and drawings for system improvements, along with drafting cost estimates and work schedules for project execution.
Job Requirement
- Diploma or Higher Nitec/Nitec in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Prior experience in the design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment is advantageous.
- Experience in managing electrical services, facilities operation, and improvement projects is preferred.
- Prior work experience in a healthcare setting is advantageous.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural and M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) schematic drawings.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of 3D perspective drawing software such as BIM is an added advantage.
