The Senior / Executive will report to the Manager on all operational, manpower and administrative matters of the department, with the overall purpose to lead or support the facilitation of quality improvement (QI) projects, drive QI trainings and coordinate any QI activities at SCH.
The Senior / Executive will work closely with stakeholders in achieving agreed upon goals and objectives through good project management and the use of suitable methodologies and tools i.e. QI methodologies - PDSA, Lean, Six Sigma, etc. He/ she will assist the Manager to facilitate QI projects which includes ensuring follow-up actions from QI project discussions are monitored and updated timely, and supporting QI related workshops where necessary.
The Senior / Executive will assist the Manager to maintain the systems and governance of all QI projects in SCH. The QI project cycle involves project registration, in-progress reviews, project completion, rewards disbursement, project sustainability and participation in competitions or conferences. He/ she will support the Manager to drive and promote QI within the hospital through events and publicity, and support the QI Domain Champions, Trainers, and Facilitators to drive QI projects uptake and training for staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
- Experience in project management and use of quality improvement principles and methodologies will be an advantage
- Excellent interpersonal skills and analytical skills
- Good presentation skills and ability to write well
