In Singapore, TD operates as The Toronto-Dominion Bank, Singapore Branch and Toronto Dominion (South East Asia) Limited, which are collectively known as “TD Singapore” since 1979. The key business in Singapore is TD Securities which is part of Wholesale Banking.
This role sits within the APAC Trade Operations team and primarily supports the Capital Markets products like Money Market, Funding, FX, Derivatives and Fixed Income business. It will require a highly motivated individual with strong decision-making skills, who is able to work independently and also as part of a team. The incumbent may be involved in Capital Markets products processing and various other support functions for the Singapore desks as directed by the Manager of Capital Markets Operations. The individual will identify opportunities for process improvements and assist in the development of business requirements and project testing for new initiatives and projects.
Key skills and competencies:
- Display a solid understanding of capital market products and their post trade lifecycles.
- Ability to multi-task and provide coverage to different desks
- Showcase initiative to follow up on items or determine appropriate steps for timely resolution
- Attention to detail and high personal standards for accuracy and quality of work produced
- Solid team player with and self-starter.
- Working knowledge of SWIFT will be beneficial.
Responsibilities include:
- Confirmation matching, settlement processing and reconciliation breaks investigations
- Work closely with the regional teams to ensure the processes are globally aligned.
- Assisting with preparation and ongoing maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures
Requirements:
- 3+ years relevant experience in Capital Market Operations. Opened to fresh graduates as well.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Able to work on Singapore Public Holidays.
