Our client a Global Bank is seeking a Finaical Data Analyst to join the team. This person will be responsible for developing and employing the use of mining tools and advanced analytics for revenue data analysis and process automation. These tools help us analyze voluminous revenue and metric data for anomalies and work to prevent revenue leakage and generate operational alpha across the regional Revenue Operations teams.
The Finance Data Analyst will participate in the review of business and data processes to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of revenue operations, which spans across service fees and key metrics data, client incentives and billing operations. These include:
a) the review and implementation of process improvements using a variety of productivity tools
b) the transformation and harmonization of data across multiple data sources; and
c) the usage of automation and visualization to report and communicate results achieved.
The Analyst will support process reviews and recommend improvements using a variety of productivity tools to drive process efficiency and effectiveness via automation and optimization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accountancy, Business Management or equivalent.
- Expertise in using advanced Microsoft Excel modules such as PowerQuery, VBA
- Experience in productivity and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams and SharePoint
- Strong written and verbal skills, as well as the ability to Communicate Effectively
- Excellent project and time management working as part of a Global team across multiple time zones
What will also help (Data Skills with):
- Experience with the usage of technical data skills in a business domain
- Experience in the usage of Python or R in data-driven analytics
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau and PowerBI
