The Protective Technology Research Centre (PTRC) of NTU is recruiting one project officer for the project on blast resistance of precast structures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Literature reviews and specimen preparation on current precast wall details and blast simulation.
- Prepare test setup and conduct tests
- Conduct post-test analysis and simulations
- Draft test analysis and simulation reports
- Conduct parametric studies to validate.
- Help Research Fellow to draft guideline
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor degree and good grades in courses such as Structural Dynamics and Structural Engineering.
- Familiar with blast simulation and relevant software such as AutoDyna and Ls-Dyna.
- Good knowledge of dynamic analysis and simulation
- Experience in experimental work (for model validation).
- Good knowledge of data statistics (curve fitting and formula derivation).
- Good knowledge of structural dynamics and blast analysis of structure.
