The ideal candidate will have a strong background in physics, particularly in magnetism and fluid dynamics, and experience in simulation software.
Responsibilities:
Develop and conduct simulations related to the behaviour of soft magnetic materials in blood vessels under the influence of magnetic fields.
Analyse blood flow dynamics and its interaction with magnetic materials and fields.
Collaborate with biomedical engineers to understand clinical requirements and translate them into simulation models.
Optimize magnetic control mechanisms for safe and effective
navigation of medical devices within the cardiovascular system.
Validate simulation results with experimental data, adjusting models as necessary.
Document and present findings to technical and non-technical
stakeholders.
Stay updated with the latest developments in magnetic materials, medical device technology, and simulation software.
Requirements:
Strong understanding of magnetism, fluid dynamics, and their applications in medical technology.
Proficient in simulation software (e.g., ANSYS, COMSOL Multiphysics).
Experience in modeling and simulating blood flow and magnetic field interactions.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a
multidisciplinary team.
Education:
Master’s or Ph.D. in Physics, Applied Physics, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
