Job Description:
- Commissioning for products with focus on control systems, electrical and mechatronic equipment.
- Ensure control system integration at the designated premises.
- Oversee the complete installation process of our product in the field in alignment with engineering documentation.
- Configure controllers, sensors, devices, and communication protocols on equipment with minimal assistance.
- Test and validate the product installation, with the ability to troubleshoot configurations and equipment/devices if necessary.
- Perform pre-commissioning checks such as Functional Integration Tests (FIT), wiring installation verification.
- Establish and maintain technical commissioning documentation and checklists, including documents for functional and HW/SW integration tests
Job Requirements:
- 5+ year(s) of proven work experience as Commissioning Technician/ Engineer preferably in Marine or O&G.
- Experience in testing and commissioning of automation & control system, embedded SW engineering and/or mechanical engineering.
- Proven knowledge in automation & control, in SW design and testing.
- Good knowledge of electronic equipment and instruments.
- Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (Modbus RTU/TCP, OPC UA, PLC...).
- Proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Travel extensively to customer fields
