Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement advanced manufacturing processes utilizing digital technologies and data analytics to optimize productivity and reduce costs.
- Conduct comprehensive process analysis leveraging data-driven insights to identify areas for improvement and enhance quality, throughput, and yield.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Operations, Quality) to support the integration of digital technologies into new product introductions and existing manufacturing processes.
- Evaluate and select appropriate digital manufacturing tools and technologies to improve process capabilities and efficiency.
- Lead or participate in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for process-related issues using digital modeling and simulation techniques.
- Design and execute experiments (DOE) using digital twin technology to validate process changes and improvements before implementation.
- Create and maintain digital manufacturing documentation including virtual work instructions, digital SOPs, and real-time process monitoring dashboards.
- Provide technical support to production teams for the adoption and utilization of digital tools and technologies, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Drive initiatives related to Industry 4.0 principles, leveraging IoT and smart manufacturing concepts for continuous improvement.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in digital manufacturing technologies, recommending innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
Job Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with process improvement methodologies (Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma) incorporating digital techniques.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and familiarity with ERP/MES systems.
