As the Operations Manager at A Life by Design Living, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our operations. You will oversee various aspects of our business to drive productivity, streamline processes, and enhance overall performance. Working closely with the management team, you will contribute to the company's success by implementing strategies to optimize resources, manage projects, and maintain high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Project Management: Coordinate and oversee all projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
2. Resource Allocation: Efficiently allocate resources, including manpower, materials, and equipment, to maximize productivity and minimize waste.
3. Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across all operational functions.
4. Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to the operations team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
5. Vendor Management: Manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services, as well as negotiate contracts and agreements.
6. Quality Control: Establish and maintain quality control procedures to uphold high standards of workmanship and ensure customer satisfaction.
7. Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and standards to create a safe working environment for all employees and subcontractors.
8. Financial Management: Monitor and manage operational expenses, budgets, and financial performance to achieve cost-efficiency and profitability goals.
9. Communication: Facilitate clear and effective communication between different departments, stakeholders, and project teams to ensure alignment and collaboration.
10. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues that may impact operations and develop strategies to mitigate them proactively.
REQUIREMENTS
· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
· Proven experience in operations management, preferably in the interior design or construction industry.
· Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve goals.
